| The
1st Canadian Parachute Battalion 1942-1945 is a non-profit,
educational organization which organized with the purpose of facilitating
the development of, and participation in, battle reenactments and
living history of the World War II era. In a spirit of
volunteerism, the members of the Battalion seek to contribute to a
broader understanding of the lives, the issues, and the
experiences faced by the Canadian Parachute Battalion and their
families during the period of 1942 to 1945.
We also wish to honor all veterans who have served their countries to the best of their abilities, some giving the ultimate sacrifice for country and kin, These men and women deserve our respect and gratitude and in our humble way we wish to honor them. We're achieving this through unit research , Veteran contact and Public education. Currently, our group and our reputation are growing rapidly over the east coast and other parts of the United States and in Canada.Our membership reflects seriously committed people who are very active doing the ir part in the organization.If you enjoy the hobby of living historian and reenactor, we welcome all serious inquiries, come join us!
